Here are the wonderful workshops taking place at our next event in August 2025.
Discover the basics of crochet, from mastering the 3 essential stitches to creating your very own beautiful projects. You'll learn the stitches you need to know how to make cozy scarves, adorable amigurumi toys, and much more! You'll receive: a printed colour workbook; a 6mm crochet hook; 1 ball of Acrylic yarn to practice with; links to video tutorials of the information covered in the workshop.

Learn this amazing knitting technique to create a wonderfully squishy fabric. We’ll cover the basics of the two colour brioche stitch and the terminology. We’ll also explore a brioche increase and two simple decreases to create geometric shapes in your brioche swatch.
You need to be able to cast on, knit and purl confidently and be able to follow a written pattern.
Yarn and handouts are included.
Bring 5mm circular needles (60-80cm) and a pen or pencil. Circular needles are essential for two-colour brioche knitting, even when knitting flat.

Get started with this exciting new skill. We'll cover the basics of Tunisian crochet, including how to get started, three types of stitch and how to finish off your project. During the class we will practice the stitches on a small swatch. You need to have basic crochet skills - how to make a chain and form crochet stitches. The class includes instructions and yarn to make a cowl or mitts using the stitches you have learnt. It also includes a Tunisian crochet hook.

Create a beautiful felted bowl using merino wool/silk. You'll learn a 3d wet felting technique including how to use a resist and adding surface decoration. No prior skills are required.
This workshop is run by Lamorna Thomas who is an experienced feltermaker and tutor, and member of the International Feltmakers Association.
We will use needle felting techniques to make a landscape of poppies. No experience necessary . You don't need to bring anything other than yourselves.

Learn the basics of drop spindle spinning. We'll cover drafting and adding twist using a drop spindle to make yarn. We'll also talk about plying and finishing your yarn.
You'll go home with a kit, including a drop spindle, British wool fibre and instructions so you can practice your new skills at home.

Learn to spin using a top whorl drop spindle. You'll be taken through the basics of spinning, from choosing your wool, how to start your spinning, drafting your wool and turning it into a plied yarn.
Included in the price is a hand turned top whorl drop spindle to keep, a leader yarn, printed instructions and fibres so you can keep practising at home.

Felt Wildly has collaborated with Joe's Toes to bring you a fabulous felty one-hour workshop! We've combined the 'Make Your Own' felt glasses case (RRP £9.50) with an all-you-need-to-know needle felting course. You'll be guided through all the basics of 2D needle felting while you custom design your very own glasses case!
Everything is provided for you to take away your finished item, along with a felting needle and extra wool to continue on your needle felting journey!
The workshop is run by Daisy Worth of Felt Wildly who is an experienced feltmaker and tutor.

Learn a knitting technique that will let you make shawls, scarfs and blankets. The Entrelac pattern taught here is based on an old Latvian traditional weaving pattern named “Drellis”. You'll learn the basics of the technique by preparing a small sample. This will give you the skills to make a triangular shawl. After the workshop, there'll be online assistance (e.g. WhatsApp group) to complete this project.
Detailed step-by-step written instructions and pattern chart of triangular shawl are provided.
You need to be a beginner-intermediate knitter, able to use circular needles. Needed for workshop: 3.5 - 4mm circular needles, 2.5 – 3.5mm crocheting hook.

Learn to do the ancient (Mesolithic) craft of Nalbinding. By using a single sewing needle and a length of wool used for making bags, socks, hats and many other items.
You'll learn the York stitch, Hansen notation, joining, increasing, decreasing in the round and flat.
Full handouts will be provided to take home with the worked samples. More samples of stitches will be available for examination.
Everything is provided for the workshop.

A fun couple of hours learning and making a wonderful wool wrag wreath. You’ll choose from a heart or round shaped wreath, and tie pre-cut strips of wool to create your own unique wreath to enjoy for years to come. All materials are provided. Suitable for all abilities.

Learn how to needlefelt a sheep using wool from our rare breed sheep. The skills learned will be transferable to any other animal you fancy. All materials and felting needles will be provided, but if you have a felting needle holder please bring it along as it will speed up some parts of the process. No experience necessary but please be aware the needles are very sharp so steady hands are required. Your sheep can be freestanding or made into a cute brooch.

Come and learn how to use felting needles and wool to make an adorable felted friend. During the class we will go through making the centre structure for your animal from core wool and how to decorate it using the coloured fibres provided.
